Rayven Choi Films is a small but mighty award-winning production company that specializes in creating smart, funny, high concept films for low to modest budgets. Since 2008, we have been shooting movies with a message and have the laurels and awards to prove it. Our most recent short film, Dick Control, stars Curtis Hamilton (Insecure, The Kings of Napa) and has been taking the film festival circuit by storm. Since 2008, we’ve been working to build Rayven Choi Films, brick by brick, and the universe has rewarded us with some major wins. In 2014, we made the semi-final round of Matt Damon and Ben Affleck’s revival of HBO’s Project Greenlight. A few years later, we made the top 10 in BET’s Project Cre8. In 2019, we beat out 4000 submissions to be selected as one of 8 screenwriters in Ron Howard and Brian Grazer’s screenwriting incubator, Imagine Impact 2. In 2022, our short film, Dick Control played in 19 film festivals and won at 5. In 2023, our CEO won the Distinguished Leadership of the Year Award from the Regional Black Chamber of Commerce – SFV. In 2024, we’re looking forward to even more accomplishments and can’t wait to share them with you.
